Before the first day

Go through everything that goes to preschool and label anything that could be mistaken for another child's:
- Overalls, rain gear and outdoor jacket
- Hats, mittens, neck warmer and scarf
- Rubber boots, winter shoes and indoor slippers
- The spare clothes in the cubby — trousers, tops, socks and underwear
- Water bottle and lunch box
- Soft toy, blanket and sleeping bag for nap time
- Backpack and bag

How many name labels do I need for preschool?
It depends on how much your child brings. Go through the packing list above and count the clothes and items. The configurator shows exactly how many labels fit on each sheet, and it's wise to get a few extra for clothes bought during the year.
Do the labels survive preschool laundry?
Yes. They survive 60° washing and tumble drying without peeling or fading — tested on real kids' clothes through real school years.

Where do I put the label on clothes?
On the garment's care label. If there are several, pick the largest and smoothest. If the garment has no care label, like some socks and mittens, a laundry marker or an iron-on patch in a discreet spot is a better choice.
