Delivery policy

This page describes how we produce, pack and ship your orders from Märka. For payment, the right of withdrawal and complaints, see our terms of sale.

1. Delivery area

We currently deliver within Sweden only. We are expanding our delivery area over time — please get in touch if you would like to order to a country that is not yet available at checkout.

2. Production and dispatch

Märka's name labels are made to order based on the choices you make in the configurator. To keep prices low and our workflow sustainable, we currently batch up the week's orders and ship them once a week.

Our goal is to post each week's orders on Mondays. However, because production takes place at our print partner, the dispatch day may sometimes be Tuesday, Wednesday or later in the week. We always do our best to ship as soon as printing is finished.

In practice:

• Orders received by Sunday 23:50 are included in the following week's batch.

• Orders received after Sunday's cut-off are shipped at the earliest the week after.

• During public holidays and vacation periods dispatch may be delayed further. In that case we will post information on the home page and at checkout.

3. Shipping method and delivery time

We send your order as a standard letter with PostNord (Posten). We post the letters ourselves directly in the post box on the dispatch day.

Expected delivery time after the letter has been posted is typically 2–5 business days within Sweden, according to PostNord's current delivery times for letters. Because we ship in one batch per week, total time from order to delivery is normally 3–10 business days, depending on the weekday you placed your order and when our print partner finishes the week's batch.

Please note: letters are not trackable and do not require the recipient's signature. The letter is delivered directly to your regular mailbox or apartment building mailbox.

4. Shipping cost

We currently offer free shipping on all orders within Sweden, regardless of order value. This is an introductory offer while we evaluate volume and delivery costs, and may change in the future. The shipping cost that applies when you place your order is always the one shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

5. Incorrect address

As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct and complete. Letters returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address are re-sent at a new shipping cost of 99 SEK. Contact us as soon as possible at hello@markalappar.se if you spot an error in your address — we will do our best to correct it before the letter is posted.

6. Delayed or lost letter

Because we ship as a standard letter, we cannot track the item during transport. PostNord normally considers a letter delayed only after 5 business days after dispatch.

If your letter has not arrived within 10 business days from the date we posted it, please contact us at hello@markalappar.se with your order number. We will investigate together with you and agree on a resolution, e.g. a reprint or refund. For defects we are responsible for under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, we bear the cost of the remedy — see §7 of our terms of sale.

7. Risk for the goods

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, risk for the goods passes to you as the buyer when the goods have been handed over. For delivery by letter that does not require a signature, the goods are considered handed over when PostNord has placed the letter in your mailbox or apartment building mailbox. Should anything happen to the goods before then, the risk is ours — contact us per §6 above.
